We could not find harder chain this small locally the next size larger is to large for an 8" gong target. If we can find 1/4" chain in a harder grade we will definitely offer it. If chain is shot it will most likely be damage or broken. Each Kit Contains (2) lengths 12" 1/4" Proof Chain (2) 1 1/2" 3/8-16 Grade 5 Harden Bolts (2) 2 1/2" Grade 2 Bolts for mounting chain to a 2" x 4" lumber (6) 3/8-Washers (2) 3/8"- Grade 2 Nuts to go with 2 1/2" bolts (2) 3/8-16 Nylock Nuts (10) 3/8 Flat Washers
